Director of Finance – Managed Care
Salary Range: $160,000–$170,000

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Finance – Managed Care to join a high-impact finance leadership team. This role creates an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance leader to step in, make an immediate impact, and be groomed for promotion to VP of Finance within the next few years.
You will work side-by-side with the VP of Finance, influencing all fiscal matters related to a $180M managed care portfolio, while helping guide the organization through growth, complexity, and strategic decision-making.
As Director of Finance, you will play a critical role in both day-to-day operations and long-term financial strategy, including:
- Partnering closely with the VP of Finance on all financial matters impacting managed care operations
- Leading budget development, forecasting, and financial planning
- Supporting financial operations, managed care contracting, and business analytics
- Providing insight-driven analysis to support strategic planning and executive decision-making
- Managing and mentoring a lean, high-performing two-person finance leadership team
- Delivering clear, actionable financial insights in a fast-paced, highly regulated healthcare environment

Required Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting
- 5+ years of people leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of healthcare finance; experience with Managed Care, HMO, and/or Medicaid highly preferred
- Background in public accounting and/or corporate finance strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel modeling and analytical skills
- Proven ability to think critically, solve problems, and operate independently
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA and/or Master’s degree strongly preferred
Technology
- Experience with PeopleSoft or Workday is a plus
