Cordia Resources is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to take ownership of complex, multi-state payroll processing activities. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and experienced in ensuring accurate and timely payroll while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Key Responsibilities
Process multi-state payroll for employees across various locations (5+ years required).
Ensure accurate and timely payroll cycles while adhering to tight deadlines.
Review, audit, and reconcile payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain payroll records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Assist with year-end processes including W-2s and other payroll-related reporting.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and management teams to resolve payroll issues and respond to employee inquiries.
Support process improvements and payroll system optimizations.
Qualifications
5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience required.
Experience with Costpoint and UKG strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
Experience working in a government contracting or professional services environment.
