Amazing opportunity for a direct-hire/full-time, Director of Contracts in Reston/Herndon, VA area.  Opportunity to join a Growing Goveremtn Contractor and HAVE A SEAT AT THE TABLE with Senior leadership.

Company and Position highlights:

Client is seeking a Contract's Director is going to manage a variety of U.S. Federal contracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements. Candidate will provide on-site advice to  business units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters. May manage more than one contract or, alternatively, be full-time on a single project (depending on the size/complexity of the agreement).

 
-They are an IT Services(Information Management and cyber security) Government Contractor
-Director of Contracts position – One man/woman show for now and will hire as they continue to grow.
-Very manageable contract load.
-MUST be someone with mature attitude as they are joining the Senior Leadership Team, will work closely with the CAO and CEO, especially the first 60-90days. 
-Need to be proactive, dependable, organized, and a great customer service/collaborator with their partners.
-Need someone from a smaller and growing business, not the giant companies; BOOZ, GDIT, Boeing, Raytheon.
-~$30M in revenues, and growing to $40M by years end is the plan.
-Reports to Chief Administrative officer who is fantastic. Very mature, professional, and has a great attitude.
-Compensation: Generous Base compensation + 15% and or higher performance bonus.  
-Hybrid policy is: They are located in Dulles Corridor. Best case scenario 2 days in(Probably can flex to one)…Mondays is when they do their meetings, bring in lunch etc. For a Rockstar, they can perhaps consider remote, but needs to be a DMV candidate.
-Software: Standard MS Office suite, but if someone has Salesforce and or Unanet that is a “nice to have.”
-Interview process; two rounds-First is with CAO and CEO, then Second is then meeting with Operations, Finance, and Project Managers.
-Must be US citizen, and clearable. They can hold up to a TS and it is “nice to have” if a candidate has a clearance.
-Vaccination: must be Covid 19 vaccinated and or willing to by start date.
