Are you detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in payroll using Costpoint? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our finance team as a Payroll Clerk. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in supporting new hire set up, timecard management, adjustments, garnishments, leave management, and other essential payroll functions.
Responsibilities:
Utilize Costpoint software to support the process of payroll accurately and efficiently for all employees.
Assist in the setup and onboarding of new hires into the payroll system, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Manage and maintain timecard data for all employees, including validating and reconciling hours worked.
Process adjustments and corrections to payroll, addressing any discrepancies promptly and accurately.
Administer garnishments and deductions accurately in accordance with legal requirements and court orders.
Handle leave management, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Generate and distribute payroll reports and other related documents as required.
Respond to employee inquiries and provide excellent customer service regarding payroll-related matters.
Collaborate with the HR team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless payroll processing and data accuracy.
Assist with year-end reporting and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Clerk, with specific expertise in using Costpoint for payroll processing.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of payroll management.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve payroll-related issues effectively.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet payroll deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with employees and stakeholders.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll information.
