Our client – A government contractor, is seeking a Deltek Costpoint Labor Specialist. This person must be proficient with Costpoint with recent experience with the software. Compensation is in the range of $50-$65k. Location is Dayton, OH but remote work is possible. The role will focus on labor processing, leave processing, and payroll processing.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Weekly processing, reviewing and correcting of timesheets.
Setup and maintenance of employee salary records.
Monthly leave processing and maintenance of leave records.
Year End leave processing duties.
Responding to and resolving employee emails and service tickets about labor and leave.
Work with Project Accounting to resolve labor errors.
Work closely with the Payroll Administrator to ensure employees are accurately paid on a bi-weekly basis.
Work closely with Human Resources to ensure employee records are correct.
Work closely with Human Resources Union representatives and Union Program managers for any timekeeping or leave accrual updates needed due to CBA contract renegotiations.
Process military differential pay as needed.
Process retroactive employee increase/decrease pay as needed.
Process vacation/PTO payouts for SCA anniversaries and terminated employees.
Process/track special leave such as Workers Compensation, Leave Without Pay, Family Medical
Processing bi-weekly supplemental payments.
Analyze timesheet data to identify discrepancies.
Costpoint System upgrade testing as needed
Required: • Bachelors degree with 2-5 years of experience or HS diploma with 6+ years of experience.
Understanding of FLSA rules
