Position Overview:
As the Non-profit Controller, you will play a key role in managing the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, grant reporting, and month-end close processes. Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and petty cash.

Grant Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of grant budgets and financial reports for submission to funding agencies.
- Ensure compliance with grant requirements and deadlines.

Month-End Close:
- Lead the month-end close process, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and complete financial data.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the development and monitoring of the organization's annual budget.
- Provide financial forecasts and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Collaborate with auditors during annual audits.

Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor finance department staff.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role.
- Strong knowledge of non-profit accounting principles and regulations.
- Experience with financial software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
