Senior Supply Chain Analyst 16442446

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee our client's supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize the supply chain, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency. The Supply Chain Manager will also monitor supplier performance, identify alternatives, and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain risks. The ideal candidate must have excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies and policies to optimize operations, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor supplier performance, identify alternatives, and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Collect data on inventory levels, production schedules, and demand forecasts to analyze supply chain operations.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics to track the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by monitoring supplier performance, identifying alternatives, and developing contingency plans.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices and continuously identify opportunities for improvement in supply chain processes.
  • Provide recommendations to senior management on supply chain optimization and strategy based on data analysis and market insights.
  • Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations.
  • Create procedures and policies to establish monthly reporting of KPIs to the company's leadership team.
  • Create full reports using various data visualization techniques on areas of vulnerability, inefficiency, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead significant initiatives targeting new procedures but not limited to: New manufacturers, logistics and transportation options, and procurement arrangements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Five years of experience in supply chain management or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • A solid understanding of all steps from procurement to payment, including sourcing-related steps.
  • Knowledge of circuit card assembly and electronics manufacturing processes is desired.
  • Experience with Microsoft Navision and Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct and practices.
  • Organized, detail and customer-oriented, and dependable.
  • Effective analytical, oral, and written communication skills for internal customers/vendor relations and interfaces.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and multitask efficiently.
  • Experience working with all levels of internal and external customers.
