New REMOTE Mortgage Loan Processor Opportunity! For this direct hire/ full-time position, you will be responsible for the entire end-to-end mortgage loan process. You will gather and process all loan documentation and ensure compliance with policy, regulatory, and loan terms.
 
The role of the Mortgage Loan Processor is more than just to review the loan package, he/she must be responsible for requesting, collecting and reviewing the information/documents to complete the loan pack prior to handing it over to an underwriter for approval. Attention to detail is of utmost importance. The Mortgage Loan Processor performs their duties with an understanding of effectively managing a pipeline and providing superior customer service to the borrower and internal team members. Mortgage Loan Processor Responsibilities
  • Review each loan file to verify that documents are present, accurate, and complete before underwriting
  • Manage loan process through mortgage software system
  • Ensure that loan rules, obligations, and deadlines are met
  • Audit and prepare quality files that meet closing objectives
  • Obtain mortgage loan documentation for clients
  • Answer all incoming calls and emails addressing borrower questions, concerns, or updates. A high level of responsiveness and strong phone skills are required
 
Mortgage Loan Processor Qualifications
  • REQUIRED - Minimum of 2 years of Mortgage and Loan Processing experience
  • Knowledge of Freddie Mac and FNMA policies and guidelines
  • Knowledge of mortgage loan processing, compliance, investor products and underwriting guidelines
  • Experience processing CONV/FHA/USDA/VA loans
  • Working knowledge of Encompass 360
  • High school graduate, with some college preferred
  • Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and experience with automated underwriting systems
 
SALARY RANGE:
Salary range for this role is $60,000-70,000 per year
 
 
OTHER COMPENSATION:
