We are seeking a qualified Project Accountant. The Project Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting general ledger maintenance, variance analysis, and job costing activities within construction projects. A bachelor's degree is required for this position.
Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to construction projects.
Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in project financials.
Assist in job costing activities including tracking expenses, labor, and materials.
Prepare and review project budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with project managers to provide financial support and analysis.
Generate financial reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
2 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of general ledger maintenance, variance analysis, and job costing principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
