Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a $10M full-service consulting firm who is seeking a dynamic FP&A Manager to join their team on a contract basis with the potential for contract-to-hire. The successful candidate will have the ability and aspiration to progress to a more senior finance role in the future. Attention to detail, as well as expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, project finance, and corporate finance are required to excel in this position. 

Title: FP&A Manager
Location: Remote
Hourly Rate: $50.00/hour
Job Type: Contract / Contract to Hire

Responsibilities: 

• Lead all financial planning, forecasting and analysis activities
• Prepare, analyze and report actual results against project and division operating plans for awards, sales, margins, receivables, inventory, capital and headcount
• Help with internal corporate projects and initiatives 
• Perform monthly accounting close process to include preparation of required accounting entries, accruals and account reconciliations
• Serve as a business partner to Executive and Sector leadership
• Prepare monthly rolling forecasts and cost/profit analysis
• Support proposal preparation and assist in the preparation of division financial budgets and operating plans

Qualifications: 

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 
• At least 5 years’ professional experience 
• Strong experience with Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas)
• Experience using other Microsoft Office tools (including Word and PowerPoint)
• Experience with project or task financial management and support including analyzing budgets, monitoring actual cost data, developing forecasts, and providing variance analysis
• Understanding of business management principles, concepts and practices and the ability to provide potential solutions for cost and schedule performance issues
