Senior Accountant

Salary ($80k-$110k + 18% Bonus)

Job Description

General Ledger:

• Compile monthly journal entries and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile specific general ledger accounts and assist in the month-end close process.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K reports for SEC filings.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of required financial documentation.
• Support in crafting monthly, quarterly, and annual lender reports.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules requested by external auditors.
• Conduct quality control review for SEC, investor, Board, and lender reports.
• Manage year-end audit confirmations for cash, debt, and legal matters.
• Assist in quarterly depreciation estimations and annual tax report preparation.

Fixed Assets:

• Monitor and input capital expenditures into the fixed asset subledger.
• Reconcile the general ledger with the fixed asset subledger during month-end close.

Cash Management:

• Generate bank wires for recurring monthly debt, lease, and other payments.
• Prepare internal-billing invoices for insurance and other reimbursements to corporate from hotels.
