Job Title: Senior Project Control Analyst

Job Type: 3 Month Contract 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Project Control Analyst to support various areas of project control on large NASA contracts. The ideal candidate will lead Task Order (TO) proposal financial process and pricing activities for new and existing (modifications) TOs, maintain, administer and operate a financial and resources management and reporting system using cost estimating and cost monitoring tools (i.e., PMI/RPM tools), and produce ad hoc financial reporting for a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external. The Senior Project Control Analyst will work with technical experts to update forecast (ETC) monthly and produce a variety of variance reporting (EAC vs Plan, Actuals vs Forecast, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Task Order (TO) proposal financial process and pricing activities for new and existing (modifications) TOs. • Maintain, administer and operate a financial and resources management and reporting system using cost estimating and cost monitoring tools (i.e., PMI/RPM tools). • Produce ad hoc financial reporting for a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external. • Work with technical experts to update forecast (ETC) monthly. • Produce a variety of variance reporting (EAC vs Plan, Actuals vs Forecast, etc.). • Understanding of variance analysis and ability to work with team to determine root cause and corrective actions. • Advise program leadership on key trends and early warning indicators – seeks understanding of narrative around the data. • Responsible for maintaining Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) / charge code integrity. • Setup charge codes for personnel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Management, or related field and 5 years of experience. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree. • Must have Microsoft 365 experience, particularly high proficiency with Microsoft Excel. • Excellent communication skills in a cross-functional team. • Ability to work in a hybrid (office and remote) environment.

Desired Skills and Qualities:

• Deltek products (Costpoint, T&E, Cobra), PMI/RPM. • Understanding of NASA contracts and financial reporting requirements - NASA FAR Supplement & NASA Procedural Requirements (NPR 9000s). • Understanding of complex Excel estimating models.
