Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert has partnered with a small government contractor in California that is searching for a Sr. Accountant on a permanent basis.
This role is 100% Remote, but requires working Pacific hours (11-8 Eastern time, 10-7 Central).
Candidate will be a 1-person accounting team, responsible for all finance and accounting functions for a $15 million firm.

Candidate will be a 1-person accounting team, responsible for all finance and accounting functions for a $15 million firm.
Candidate will be responsible for:
- General ledger work (reconciliations, ACHs, wires, journal entries, etc.)
- Preparation of financial statements
- Processing AP
- Government billing
- Collections and Cash applications
- Other accounting duties as assigned
Candidates should have the following experience:
- 5+ years of GL experience with a government contractor
- Recent Costpoint experience either currently or within the last 6 months
- Ability to work remotely with a dedicated workspace and high speed internet access
- “Can do” attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work west coast hours to fulfill the needs of the firm
- Demonstrated independent working ability
