Cordia Resources is seeking a Staff Accountant with Great Plains experience, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to leverage Great Plains to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Responsibilities: General Ledger Maintenance:
Record and reconcile financial transactions in the general ledger.
Prepare and review journal entries for accuracy and completeness.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements using Great Plains data.
Generate ad-hoc reports as needed for management analysis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Staff Accountant with a focus on Great Plains.
Proficient in Great Plains software.
Strong understanding of accounting principles.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
