Join Our Team as a National Grants Program Manager!

Are you passionate about making a difference in communities across the nation? Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic and dedicated National Grants Program Manager (NGPM) to lead and manage technical assistance for grantees, primarily under the USEPA Community Change Grants (CCG) program. In addition to CCG, you’ll oversee four other related USEPA grant programs.

As the NGPM, you’ll be at the helm of a national organization comprising over 150-175 of our client's personnel and a similar number from fifteen subcontractors. You’ll have the support of managers from both employees and subcontractors, with most personnel spread across nine EPA regions and senior managers based in our Tysons office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Inspire: Ensure adequate, qualified staff are assigned to each task.
  • Deliver Excellence: Guarantee timely, high-quality deliverables.
  • Foster Productivity: Manage team members’ productivity and work quality.
  • Communicate Proactively: Maintain open, ongoing communication with EPA’s COR.

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA/BS required; MS/MBA strongly preferred. Degrees in environmental engineering/sciences, civil/soil engineering, or related fields are highly desirable. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 15+ years in providing technical assistance to communities.
    • Minimum 10 years working on large-scale federal grant programs.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proven experience managing teams of 200-300 people.

Location:

  • Tysons Office Presence: Required 3-4 days per week.
  • Travel: Some travel to U.S. sites anticipated.
