Senior Accountant

Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant. This role will be instrumental in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting key financial operations, including journal entry and adjustment review, account reconciliation, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
           Review and post journal entries and adjustments to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
           Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain the integrity of financial data.
           Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning.
           Provide timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
           Analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies, providing actionable insights to management.
           Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with organizational goals.
           Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and analysis.
           Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations.

Qualifications:
           Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA designation is a plus.
           3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
           Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
           Proficiency with accounting software (experience with [Insert Software, e.g., Sage, NetSuite, QuickBooks] is a plus).
           Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and financial modeling.
           Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
           Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
