Position: Staff or Senior Accountant

Location: Elkridge, MD

Work Model: HYBRID (1x per week in office)

Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 + Bonus + RSU's

They are in pursuit of a dynamic Staff or Senior Accountant to be the heartbeat of their vibrant finance and accounting division. This central role, steeped in SEC reporting and equity accounting, presents a golden canvas for collaboration and innovation.

 

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and review of financial statements and supporting data for SEC filings and board meetings, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulations.
• Manage the global equity program effectively, overseeing grants, vested exercises, and stock purchase plans.
• Coordinate and manage annual audit activities, liaising actively with external auditors to facilitate a smooth process.
• Identify and implement improvements in the SEC reporting and equity processes, striving for efficiency and effectiveness in all operations.
• Assist in special finance and accounting projects as needed, contributing to a dynamic and evolving work environment.

 

Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting; a CPA or CPA pathway is required.
• Experience: 2-4 years of finance and accounting experience with a focus on SEC reporting and equity accounting.
