Our client is a $250m Financial Services company in Pittsburgh looking to add an AP Manager to their growing team. This role will be focused on the full cycle AP process including the month end and assisting in the year end audit. It will report in to an awesome CFO and oversee 2-3 staff as well.  This role is hybrid 3 days in their downtown Pittsburgh office. Salary will be up to $110k depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Train and manage staff
  • Manage invoice and expense operations, to include employee expenses, corporate card transactions, and AP invoicing
  • Perform allocations throughout multiple subsidiaries and itemizations of expenses as necessary according to budgeting or other reporting tools
  • Maintain expense processing system and oversee workflows, administration, and reporting tools
  • Perform end of the month expense reconciliations
  • Manage vendor profiles and relationships
  • Manage the annual 1099 process
  • Continually drive process automation and improvements to include contracting and purchasing workflows, and API integration
  • Assist with annual financial audits and other regulatory audits as needed
  • Update and maintain department procedures and controls to be utilized regularly by staff
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university preferred
  • 5+ years of experience with increasing responsibility
  • Proficient in GAAP
  • Strong organization and people management skills
  • Experience with Concur and system implementations is required
  • Experience with budgeting is preferred
