Cordia Resources is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Interim Controller for our non-profit client. The Interim Controller will play a crucial role in supporting our financial reporting and budgeting processes.   • Oversee and manage the organization's financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Assist in the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and realistic budgets
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing analysis and recommendations to the management team
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
  • Collaborate with external auditors and oversee the annual audit process
  • Provide training and guidance to finance staff as needed
  • Support special financial projects and initiatives as directed by the executive team
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a non-profit organization
  • Strong understanding of non-profit accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
  • Experience with Blackbaud financial management software is a significant plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
