- Generate and submit accurate and timely invoices for government contracts using the Costpoint ERP system.
- Review contracts and billing terms to ensure compliance with government regulations and guidelines.
- Allocate project costs accurately to specific contracts and tasks in the Costpoint system.
- Collaborate with project managers and finance team to ensure proper revenue recognition.
- Perform regular billing analysis and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues.
- Assist in government audits by providing well-documented financial records and supporting documentation.
- Maintain the Costpoint system with up-to-date billing and project data.
- Prepare and present billing-related reports to management and project teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Billing Specialist, preferably in a government contracting environment.
- Proficiency in Costpoint ERP system is required.
- Strong understanding of government contracting regulations and billing requirements.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
