Job Title: AP Supervisor
Location: Hybrid - Charlottesville, VA
Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $40.00
Job Type: Contract to Hire


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the AP team and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve vendor and supplier issues
  • Monitor and maintain accurate accounts payable records and reports
  • Provide training and coaching to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively
  • Lead and participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Experience with large ERP systems and AP automation tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across functions and levels of the organization
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and optimization
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines
