Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is working with a leading government contracting organization to provide accounting and finance services to a Federal Agency in downtown DC.  Candidates will be responsible for significant financial analysis regarding appropriation of funds for the Agency during a 5+ month study.  Majority of the work will be done remotely, but there are meetings required in DC on an as needed basis.  

Title: Financial Analyst
Hourly Rate: $35.00 - $55.00/hour
Location: Hybrid / Remote - Washington, DC

Responsibilities:

• Performs business and/or financial management and analytical tasks.
• Conducts analysis using appropriate analytical tools, techniques, and methodologies to satisfy program requirements and creates project deliverables. 
• Able to identify, understand, and communicate financial trends and scenarios. 
• Compiles concise written reports on financial statuses and recommendations. 
• Specific expertise in financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and budgeting/forecasting. Performs associated analyses using various tools, techniques, and models under the direction of senior financial analysts.
