Landover, MDCordia Resources is currently seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting month-end close processes, conducting variance analysis, and providing audit support.

- Manage month-end close procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Perform variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to inquiries.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
- CPA certification a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate accounting or related field.
- Previous experience in public accounting a plus.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
