We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, audit preparation, and expense tracking. The ideal candidate is a CPA or CPA candidate with experience in Yardi or similar financial software. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

   •        Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
   •        Assist with audit preparation, including compiling documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
   •        Track, review, and analyze expenses to ensure accuracy and proper allocation.
   •        Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
   •        Maintain and update financial records in Yardi or similar accounting software.
   •        Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
   •        Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
   •        Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and support operational needs.
   •        Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

   •        Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
   •        Preferred: CPA or CPA candidate.
   •        Preferred: Experience with Yardi or similar accounting systems.
   •        3+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
   •        Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
   •        Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
   •        Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
   •        Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
