This established real estate owner/operator client is a small private property management and development with local roots and projects. Looking for a Senior Property Accountant (5+ years) who can help support and eventually run all property accounting functions (11 properties) and support CFO with day to day financial analysis/budgets/forecasting.
Seeking an open communicator who can work on a small team, while maintaining efficiency and productivity.
This position is IN-office four (4) days in Rockville, with reasonable quality of life offerings.
Role Focus/Details:
Day to day property accounting for 10+ properties –11 propertie
Provide accounting support for acquisitions
Monthly close and financial statement preparation
Quarterly bank financial statements
Periodic operating forecast updates and budgets
Maintain and prepare inter-company transaction and 3rd-party debt
Help drive year-end closing duties
Ad-hoc investment forecast updates, analysis, and financial modeling
Experience with full-service property management software systems, preferred data aggregation software experience.
He/she would be updating models – updating with actuals, what has changed, insurance increases/adjustments – making strategic changes
Position Requirements
5-10+ years’ experience in RE property management, preference for retail
