Your Role:
As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll be at the helm of experimentation with advanced AI technologies, including language models and AI agents. You'll drive the development of scalable, mission-critical AI capabilities and ensure their seamless integration into operational environments through state-of-the-art MLOps practices.
What You’ll Do:
- Craft and deploy modern, scalable, and cost-efficient AI/ML models that support the agency's mission and strategic goals.
- Lead research and experimentation with cutting-edge AI technologies, including language models and AI agents.
- Partner with data engineers and architects to ensure data readiness and high-quality model training.
- Implement and refine MLOps practices for optimal model training, fine-tuning, and deployment.
- Provide technical expertise in areas like natural language processing, chatbot development, and performance metrics, ensuring top-tier model accuracy and efficiency.
Your Expertise:
- 8+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in machine learning and AI, particularly with language models and AI agent workflows.
- Proven skills in developing data quality pipelines and ensuring data integrity and reliability.
- Proficiency in AI frameworks like OpenAI, Langchain, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.
- Strong command of MLOps practices and tools such as AWS Bedrock and SageMaker.
- Technical expertise in Python and other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with DevOps practices, including automated testing and version control.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess a Public Trust Clearance.
Preferred Skills:
- A Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another quantitative discipline.
