Vice President of Talent Acquisition

Role Overview
We are seeking our first ever Vice President of Talent Acquisition to lead recruiting efforts as we experience exponential growth across the organization. Our VP will create and lead the strategic vision and roadmap to find, attract and retain exceptional talent, setting the tone and expectation around maintaining a high talent bar as we continue to scale.

  • Lead, build, coach and inspire our outstanding Talent Acquisition team
  • Design and own the talent acquisition strategy and plan including annual and quarterly objectives
  • Influence through data; creating data-backed actionable insights to continuously improve recruitment practices
  • Drive innovative and impactful initiatives to increase our brand recognition in order to attract and engage world-class talent
  • Be the strategic voice of talent acquisition to ID.me leadership, our Board and key stakeholders
  • Set team performance goals, building a consistent and constructive feedback loop to ensure transparency and optimize recruiting practices
  • Mentor and develop the talent acquisition team, nurturing continual learning and development to upskill and grow 
  • Work closely with team and hiring managers to influence and deliver quality assessment and high-touch candidate experience through all aspects of the recruitment funnel
  • Understand the talent demand based on business goals and be a key partner in headcount planning
  • Lead the team to deliver against the hiring plan by enabling scalable best practices and operational systems 
  • Work with Chief People Officer on talent acquisition budget 
  • Establish and drive an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity and competitive advantage to drive ID.me’s diversity and inclusion program
Ideal Qualifications
  • 10 years of progressive experience within talent acquisition in a hyper growth SaaS or technology environment
  • At least 5 years of leading, developing and inspiring high performing talent acquisition teams
  • Experience designing, developing and supporting organization-wide talent management programs inclusive of performance management, talent development, mentorship, succession planning, data reporting and relationship management
  • Passionate, strategic leader who has successfully influenced a cohesive and collaborative recruitment culture across an organization
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and deliver impactful results
  • Deep knowledge of talent attraction partners (e.g., platforms, agencies, branding firms)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, influence and earn trust with anyone from the C-Suite to the talent acquisition team
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
