Title: Travel Coordinator/Financial Assistant
Location: Hybrid - Herndon, VA
Job Type: Contract (6+ months)
 
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Provide support in implementing AMEX Travel project across The Americas
  • Help with Concur/Basware Administration
  • Design and implement commercial agreements
  • Analyse industry trends and market competition to develop business improvement initiatives
  • Maintain exceptional professional relationships with all suppliers
  • Coordinate with buyers to maintain and provide update in all pricing and prepare routine reports for all data with help of various available tools
  • Prepare reports on working of all approved suppliers and purchase processes, maintain continuity of all supplies
  • Run greenhouse reporting and company travel analysis every month/quarter.
  • Maintain and revise Travel and Expense policies as needed and educate the employees about such policies.
  • Helps with Virtual credit card administration and reconciliation.
  • Perform relevant duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience with a Travel program preferred
  • 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Advanced ERP experience required (i.e. SAP, Concur, Basware)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level), as well as Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication skills both with internal BSI personnel and customers.
  • Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
