Cloud Services Manager 15638528

Our client, a law firm with more than 40 practice areas, has an open Cloud Services Manager opportunity. The Cloud Services Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting the firm’s core cloud-based services, including but not limited to Microsoft Azure, M365, and Google Workspace.

The Cloud Services Manager will work closely with the Manager of Enterprise Applications and the IT engineering teams to provide leadership, design guidance, and support for the firm’s cloud and cloud-hybrid initiatives. The Manager will meet with key business stakeholders, gather requirements, and deliver a great user experience through cloud-based technologies such as seamless single sign-on.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Designing, implementing, configuring, and providing escalation support for cloud-based and cloud-hybrid Enterprise applications services. (Microsoft Azure, M365, Google Workspace, etc.)
  • Developing guidelines, procedures, and documentation for efficiently supporting cloud-based services.
  • Managing cloud-connected application integration points, including SSO configuration.
  • Researching and developing solutions using cloud-based services in coordination with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Staying current with the latest cloud-based service trends such as the M365 roadmap and making proactive recommendations with IT leaders.
  • Reviewing cloud-based service utilization to ensure cost-effective use and recommending to the Manager of Enterprise Applications for licensing adjustments.
  • Working closely with IT Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure availability, security, and stability of cloud systems.
  • Working closely with Technology Support, Technology Training, and Data Governance teams to ensure that all features of cloud systems are fully utilized.
Qualifications:
  • Four-year college degree is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Microsoft Azure and M365 certifications are a plus
  • Minimum ten years’ customer support experience supporting a diverse customer base, including C-level executives.
  • Minimum 5 year’s experience implementing and supporting cloud-based services.
  • Experience with cloud-based administration consoles (Azure, M365, Google Workspace, etc.)
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory integration, configuration, and administration.
  • Experience with standard legal applications (Microsoft Office, iManage, Adobe, etc.)
  • Experience with MFA systems such as Azure MFA.
  • Solid understanding of Windows server and business operating systems (Server 2012 R2 - 2022, Windows 10, 11)
  • High level proficiency in PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewall ports, etc.)
  • Prior working experience in legal or professional service organization is desired, but not required.
  • Previous employment in legal information technology is desired, but not required.
