Finance Manager

An exciting opportunity to join an established non-profit organization as finance manager! This role supports senior leadership within the organization’s finance and administration department. As finance manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day financial planning and analysis (FP&A), in addition to:

Responsibilities:
  • Report, budget, and forecast departmental expenses and revenue
  • Analyze financial activity during the annual budget process; provide spend variance commentary to leadership
  • Provide training and support on the use of accounting and finance systems, tools, and documents
  • Partner with Legal and Accounting departments in support of the contract management process
  • Support annual audit and compliance activities
  • Review and analyze accounts based on contractual obligations in coordination with the Legal department
  • Assist in updating finance & administration policies, reports, presentations, and ad hoc projects

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience working in FP&A 
  • Proficiency in computer accounting systems and spreadsheets, database management, and Microsoft Office programs
  • Exceptional communication skills, specifically in communicating financial data to non-financial parties 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects independently
  • Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
