An exciting opportunity to join an established non-profit organization as finance manager! This role supports senior leadership within the organization’s finance and administration department. As finance manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day financial planning and analysis (FP&A), in addition to:
Responsibilities:
Report, budget, and forecast departmental expenses and revenue
Analyze financial activity during the annual budget process; provide spend variance commentary to leadership
Provide training and support on the use of accounting and finance systems, tools, and documents
Partner with Legal and Accounting departments in support of the contract management process
Support annual audit and compliance activities
Review and analyze accounts based on contractual obligations in coordination with the Legal department
Assist in updating finance & administration policies, reports, presentations, and ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience working in FP&A
Proficiency in computer accounting systems and spreadsheets, database management, and Microsoft Office programs
Exceptional communication skills, specifically in communicating financial data to non-financial parties
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects independently
Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
