Cordia Resources is seeking a Senior Accountant. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and executive leadership, to provide valuable insights and support critical business decisions.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, and month-end close processes.
Preparing financial statements, reports, and analysis to support management decision-making.
Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Collaborating with external auditors during financial audits and ensuring timely completion of audit requests.
Conducting variance analysis and providing recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
Participating in the budgeting and forecasting processes to support the overall financial planning efforts.
Assisting in the evaluation and implementation of financial systems, with a focus on optimizing the use of NetSuite.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a SaaS organization.
Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in using accounting software, NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
