Position Overview:  Join us in the heart of our client's financial operations as a Senior Accountant. Your meticulous attention to detail and financial acumen will play a crucial role in upholding our organization's fiscal integrity, supporting our initiatives, and driving our mission forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the management of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial reports and statements, providing insights to aid strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with program managers to align budgets with programmatic goals and ensure transparent financial communication.
• Monitor grant expenditures and reporting, maintaining compliance with donor requirements and regulatory standards.
• Oversee year-end audit preparations, acting as a liaison between internal teams and external auditors.
• Mentor and guide junior finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and implement streamlined, efficient practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation preferred.
• Progressive accounting experience, ideally within non-profit or social impact organizations.
• Thorough understanding of non-profit accounting principles, fund accounting, and grant management.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., [software names]) and advanced MS Excel skills.
