$100-120k salary + bonus

Our client is a publicly traded, multi-billion-dollar Financial Service company with excellent management, exceptionally sound financials, and a solid growth strategy. The company is based in northern Virginia, and services the region while operating on a hybrid work environment.
The company is seeking a Senior Accountant to help manage a variety of technical accounting and financial reporting duties. This role will be part of a team of 8, report to the Controller, and help coach/mentor a staff of four. Duties will include handling SEC reporting/financial reporting, running CECL model, working with credit team and analyzing results of model, investor presentations, helping with annual shareholder meeting, and posting/reviewing entries and reconciliations.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of corporate experience in the financial service industry, preferably understanding of CECL guidance, and ability to effectively manage up.
The person in this position will have the opportunity to wear multiple hats and balance challenging work with a balanced environment. Compensation for the role can range from $100-120k salary + bonus.
