Senior Accountant

Cordia Resources is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses strong analytical skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting month-end reconciliations, managing accounts payable, and processing expense reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Month-End Reconciliations: Ensure accurate and timely month-end reconciliations of financial accounts, including bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records.
  • Accounts Payable Management: Process vendor invoices, reconcile purchase orders, resolve discrepancies, and prepare payments in a timely manner. Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure timely payments.
  • Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports, verifying accuracy and compliance with company policies. Address discrepancies and assist employees with expense-related inquiries.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams within the organization. Provide financial expertise and support to colleagues as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 of experience in accounting and finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
