We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Payroll Specialist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in processing both union and non-union payroll, possess strong organizational skills, and be proficient in ADP Workforce Now.
- Process union and non-union payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Handle employee onboarding procedures, including verifying employment documentation, and completing required paperwork.
- Manage employee setup and changes in the payroll system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee information.
- Calculate wages, deductions, and overtime, ensuring accuracy in every payroll cycle.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with other departments.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide necessary training to employees.
- Generate reports and summaries on payroll activities as required by management.
- Minimum of 2 of experience in payroll processing, preferably including union and non-union environments.
- Proficiency in ADP REQUIRED.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
