Financial Reporting Accounting Manager 16319480
Rockville, MDCordia Resources is looking for a talented Financial Reporting Accounting Manager to oversee our financial reporting processes, including SEC reporting (10-K and 10-Q filings), monthly reconciliation review, quarterly reporting, SOX controls, and revenue recognition and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.

- Prepare and file accurate and timely SEC reports, including 10-K and 10-Q filings.
- Conduct monthly reconciliation reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Manage quarterly reporting processes, including financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Implement and maintain SOX controls related to financial reporting and disclosure.
- Oversee revenue recognition and reporting in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support audit activities.
- Stay current with changes in accounting standards, SEC regulations, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or audit roles.
- Strong knowledge of SEC reporting requirements, including 10-K and 10-Q filings.
- Experience with monthly reconciliation review, quarterly reporting, SOX controls, and revenue recognition.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
