Cordia Resources is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting payroll processing for both hourly and salaried employees, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, managing timekeeping systems, handling new employee setups and terminations, and processing garnishments.
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to payroll processing.
Manage timekeeping systems and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Set up new employees in the payroll system and process terminations when necessary.
Handle garnishments and other deductions from employees' paychecks.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and resolve any payroll-related queries.
Generate payroll reports and maintain accurate payroll records.
Stay updated on changes in payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in payroll administration or a related field.
Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
Proficiency in Paylocity a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus.
