Our client who offers robust application security education tools to help developers and the entire SDLC team recognize and understand vulnerabilities and threats and proactively mitigate these risks is seeking an experienced IT Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the study, design, development, implementation, support, and management of computer-based information systems, including both software applications and computer hardware.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyzing technical problems and identifying computer requirements to solve those problems with appropriate IT solutions.
• Designing, implementing and evaluating computer-based systems, processes, components, and programs.
• Identifying, analyzing, and responding to user needs for the selection, creation, evaluation, and administration of computer-based systems.
• Setting up laptops
• Installing and configuring appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
• Sending and receiving equipment for new and terminated staff.
• Managing ticketing system.
• Level 1 Help Desk support
• Mobile Device Management
• Mac and Windows support

Qualifications:

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication ability.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.

Education/Experience:

• Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position.
• Degree in Computer Science, engineering or relevant field. 
• Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
