The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and refining processes related to workflow, data accuracy, appeals tracking, and revenue/expense review. Title: Internal Audit Consultant
Location: On-Site - Springfield, VA
Hourly Rate: $40.00/hour
Job Type: Contract (3 months)

Responsibilities:

• Establish comprehensive processes outlining workflow, roles, and responsibilities. 
• Review data meticulously to ensure correctness and accuracy.
• Develop and implement a process for tracking appeals.
• Create and maintain checklists for the systematic review of revenue and expense data.

Skills Required:

• 3-5 years of experience in Internal Audit. 
• Exceptional attention to detail for thorough review of large datasets and numbers.
• Logical and process-oriented mindset with strong critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in the full cycle of Accounting (AR-Revenue and AP-Expense).
• Solid knowledge of SQL and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent research skills to gather all necessary information.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
