Mclean, VACordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least one year of relevant experience or strong internship experience. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting.

- Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- 1+ year of experience in accounting or strong internship experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
