Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is working with a leading government contracting organization to provide accounting and finance services to a Federal Agency in downtown DC.  Candidates will be responsible for significant financial  analysis regarding appropriation of funds for the Agency during a 5+ month study.  Majority of the work will be done remotely, but there are meetings required in DC on an as needed basis.  

Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Hourly Rate: $45.00 - $75.00/hour
Location: Hybrid / Remote - Washington, DC
Job Type: 5+ month project

Responsibilities:

• Oversees financial analysts performing business and/or financial management tasks by providing functional expertise and guidance. 
• Oversees and validates the analysis of information to satisfy program requirements and create project deliverables.
• Extensive expertise in interpreting and communicating information provided by the team through financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and budgeting/forecasting. 
• Responsible for the accuracy and quality of all analytical products produced by the team.
