Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert has partnered with a leading financial services firm in downtown Pittsburgh for a Sales & Commissions Accounting Specialist.
Candidate will be responsible for:
- Working with sales to calculate commissions activities on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Calculating fees for accounts and using established procedures to calculate commissions
- Reconciliating accounts in ERP system
- Using Excel to calculate fees, exceptions, and other areas
- Recording payments from outside vendors and record in accounting system
- Review and approve invoices for payments on client accounts
- Reconciliations of daily payments from partner firms
- Booking journal entries for cash receipts
- Bank reconciliations
Candidate should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar business-related degree
- 1+ year of experience with a financial services firm, ideally within sales support/commissions capacity
- Experience with a large ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or Netsuite
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Strong Microsoft Office experience – Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work on site 3 days per week in downtown Pittsburgh
