Title: Sr. Analyst, Due Diligence
Location: Fairfax, VA (4 days in office with reasonable flexibility around core hours)
 

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Director of Sales, Director of Operations, and Client Advisory Teams to manage the client due diligence portfolio on a routine and proactive basis while adhering to company policies and standards.
• Engaging with clients directly to collect analyze due diligence documents, compiling questions, and gathering additional details.
• Conducting thorough credit analysis and risk assessments for financing, including financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling and analysis, pro forma modeling and analysis, and industry analysis for both prospective and current clients.
• Mitigating company lending risk by carefully analyzing applicants’ information and making recommendations based on findings.
• Preparing credit committee decision memorandums for clients.
• Working closely with the deal team to assist in the structuring of deals.
• Making recommendations for changes and improvements across the due diligence practice to increase customer satisfaction, process efficiency, operational due diligence, and improve risk management practices.
• Ensuring that all loan files are complete and accurate when submitted for approval.
• Analyzing financial information and creating comprehensive risk assessments.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics,
• 6+ years of due diligence or credit and risk analysis experience.
