Our client, a Real Estate Management and Development company who impacts communities and organizations across the US, is seeking an experienced Property Staff Accountant to help maintain a diverse portfolio of Commercial and Residential properties. This key role will assist in all aspects of accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, GL, and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Duties of Position:
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure a timely monthly close.
- Responsible for generating the monthly financial statements and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Support the Accounting Manager with the annual audits; financial statement, ASC 842
- Support the preparation of the annual property tax filings.
- Participate in various business processes and technology integration initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Direct property accounting experience preferred. GL accounting experience required.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Maintain high personal integrity and strong work ethic.
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, or Sage Intacct preferred but not required.
