Project Control Manager

A publicly traded government contractor is seeking a Project Control Manager. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, the Project Control Manager will be responsible for leading and driving key initiatives for the organization. This role requires an individual with progressive leadership and hands-on experience in a Project Control setting for a government contractor. 

Project Control Manager Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and supervise Project Control Analysts in a positive team environment
  • Develop, implement, and maintain project control processes, policies, and procedures across multiple departments
  • Train business operations and project control analysts on any changes to processes and procedures
  • Provide business advisory and collaborative decision support to leadership, Division Managers, Project Managers and Ops teams 
  • Oversee conversion of sales pipeline into bookings and the effect on book-to-bill, backlog, and forecast
  • Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly/annual financial variances to actuals, forecast, budget, and prior year
Project Control Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in accounting/finance/related field
  • 10+ years of experience in a Project/Program Control role in a government contract setting with 5+ years of supervisory experience
  • Costpoint experience
  • Experience with various contract types to include FFP, T&M, CPFF
  • Demonstrated leadership across team members and departments, including at the executive level
  • Strong Excel skills required
