Our client a dynamic, high-growth international software education company is looking for a Manager, Finance Business System Administrator who will support Finance and Accounting, and The Company’s financial and ad hoc reporting in addition to the technical support of Great Plains, BI 360 and Adaptive Insights.

Business System Administrator Duties:
  • Implementation of new modules and functionality for Adaptive, BI 360 and Great Plains
  • Maintain chart of account and access/permission in Great Plains
  • Manage the data integrations into Adaptive Insights from Great Plains, and other source systems as appropriate, performing monthly system reconciliations
  • Review and approval of reports designed by end users to ensure compatibility with standard reports
  • Liaison between outside consultants and internal stakeholders
  • Research and implement new technologies or custom solutions to improve workflows
  • Document platform architecture and support training and knowledge transfer to platform users
  • Monitor deployment of additional cloud-based functionality/upgrades release by all three platforms complete and coordinate testing and communication to key stakeholders
  • Plan, review, and revise configurations and customizations to meet evolving business and operational needs
  • Develop, document, and implement policies, procedures, guidelines, and best practices to ensure data integrity and standardized end user processes
  • Lead internal trainings and regular information sharing activities
  • Troubleshoot intermittent data and/or break/fix issues
  • Maintain user permissions and role access
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective & efficient application configuration
  • Perform additional tasks as needed related to the administration of Great Plains, Adaptive Insights, and BI360
  • Manage business rules impacting calculations, allocations and repositories built within Adaptive insights for the purposes of facilitating the Company’s annual budgeting exercise and recurring forecasts 
  • Support Auditor request as needed
 
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong knowledge of three primary Financials Statements (Statement of Operations, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
  • Proven track record of converting complex and fragmented data sets to meaningful information
  • Independent and thrives in a fast paced work environment fueled by inorganic growth
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, and/or similar quantitative analysis
  • MBA or MS in Business Analytics or similar degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience including the support of financial, accounting and reporting software
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; highly proficient in other Microsoft applications
  • Prior experience with Workday Adaptive Insight, Great Plains, and BI360
