Human Resources Director

The Human Resources Director is responsible for directing the planning, development, implementation, administration, and budgeting of all the Human Resources functions, including but not limited to the following: employment, recruitment, employee relations, OSHA, EEO, Visa processing (H1B), compensation/benefits, and organizational development. The HR Director is also responsible for advising company management in Human Resources policy and program matters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead business partner to all leadership for the HR team

  • Proficient in addressing all aspects of employee relations issues to minimize adverse actions

  • Collaborates with senior leadership as well as department leaders to understand the organizations goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention

  • Implements and updates compensation programs annually; conducts annual salary surveys and develops merit pool (salary budget), analyzes compensation, and monitors performance evaluation program, revising as necessary

  • Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures, prepares, and maintains Employee Handbook

  • Understand and develop a deep sensing with the employees to keep up positive culture

  • Continuously evaluate benefits and incentives and ensure we are continuing to offer the best benefits in the industry

  • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

  • Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.

  • Develops and implements departmental budget.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.

  • A minimum of 7 years related HR experience, at least 5 of these years in a management role

  • Broad generalist background including coaching and counseling, performance management, employee involvement, teambuilding, as well as compensation and benefits

  • Thorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations

  • Experience in implementing and administering performance programs, preferably in a company that put strong emphasis on performance metrics

  • Must have demonstrated success in recruiting and retaining diverse employee talent, including creating and implementing recruitment strategies

  • Exceptional project and personnel management skills

  • Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point is essential

  • Exhibit extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our senior management team
