Director of Recruiting
 
A Maryland based technology company is looking for a Director of Recruiting to join their team. This newly added position requires someone who provides leadership, support, advocacy and vision to regional technical recruiters and support staff who provide recruiting support to hiring managers across the organization.

Required Skills & Abilities:  
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff. 
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.  
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. 
 Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Fills senior-level positions in e-business and IT fields, as well as positions in operations and management.
  • Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates.
  • Develops and refines the recruiting strategy
  • Manages the recruiting team.
  • Works closely with recruiting managers in other regions to share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs and coordinate on national-level initiatives.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 
 
Education & Experience: 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues and managing a team
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
Tele-work Opportunities: 
  • Primarily onsite
Travel Requirements:
  • Travel may be required (up to 10%)
