Accounting Manager 16052750

Our client, a new, reputable real estate private equity firm, is adding a dynamic Accounting Manager to their growing team. This position will have exposure to and oversee every aspect of the company’s financial and accounting processes while working with the company’s principals. Compensation for this position is between $100k-$115k (DOE) + 10% target bonus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee third-party accountants with respect to monthly financial statements; reviewing those statements for accuracy and completeness
  • Reviewing financial reports from 3rd party service providers including Property Management and Renovation Services
  • Preparing general ledger entries in QuickBooks and NetSuite and creating month-end reconciliations and financial reports at the management company level
  • Reviewing invoices from staff and third parties, obtaining payment approval from management, and preparing electronic and check payments for the management company
  • Preparing investor capital calls and distributions for Center Creek funds as well as handle ad-hoc investor reporting requests and onboarding of new investors
  • Coordinating with lenders on quarterly/yearly requirements and property refinancing process
  • Assisting with financial forecasting, cash planning, and analysis while coordinating with the investment, portfolio management, and operations team
  • Handle payroll, benefits, and other HR related items for the management company

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • CPA desirable, but not required
  • 3+ years’ experience in accounting
  • Exposure to real estate, private equity and/or public accounting is preferred
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects
  • QuickBooks and/or NetSuite is considered helpful and preferred
