In this role, the Sr. Analyst maintains the Chrome River database, ensuring all features function as designed. The Sr. Analyst is also responsible for designing new and change requests to the system. In this role, the Sr. Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the controls surrounding the configuration and maintenance of the system are consistently followed and documented.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define and program system workflow requirements
Ensure effective deployment and training of new system features
Analyze and resolve system errors both internally and in collaboration with the vendor’s system developers
Confer with segment finance leads to evaluate and recommend procedures to automate processes
Ability to code system logic to define and deliver automated workflow solutions
Ensure Internal Audit and SOX requirements are configured and maintained within the system
Maintain global corporate policies through the design of automated business compliance rules
Validate and document results by testing programs in QA environment
Perform advanced research involving data interpretation and analysis from various sources, including financial management and automated workflow databases.
Assume ownership of daily system support, maintenance, and direct workflow activity.
Create and deliver analytics reporting requests.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of system functionality by participating in ongoing vendor classes and conferences
Provide technical guidance and support to regional shared services teams. Segment finance leads and end users
Participate in department process improvement initiatives
Perform responsibilities as directed, achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of Accounting or Information Technology
3-5 years Financial Systems or Database Management
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Accounting or Information Systems related field
